The Pennsylvania Forestry Association (PFA) is a non-profit association whose efforts are directed toward sustaining the rich forests that are so much a part of the Commonwealth. Almost 60 percent of Pennsylvania is forestland, a valuable resource providing opportunities for recreation and forest products. The key to successfully meeting the demands made on our state's forests is to understand good forest management. To do this, education is the primary role of The Pennsylvania Forestry Association. That is why PFA offers both student and teacher scholarships. Teacher - $100 Criterion - PFA member or nominated
