Big Trees—Encourages interest and involvement from the citizens of the Commonwealth in the historic, aesthetic, preservation value, and registration of the big trees of Pennsylvania. Conservation Dinner Organizes annual Conservation Dinner held in the spring. Contact the PFA office for information, Tel. (800) 835-8065.

Education/Communication—Encourages and fosters proper management of all forest lands and natural resources of the Commonwealth through educational programs and materials directed at PFA's members and the Citizens of the Commonwealth. Supports and assists the staff, Board of Directors, Pennsylvania Forests' editor, other committees, and related programs in the area of environmental eductation which publicize the value and importance of PFA.

Forest Industry—Promotes the wise use of Pennsylvania's forest resources and provides an industry perspective to other PFA committees and the Board of Directors. Urban and Community Forestry—Educates and provides assistance to PFA members, community leaders, and the general public about the planting and care of trees and the improvement of wildlife habitat in urban and suburban areas to enhance the quality of life and human values for all people.
